About the Author
Masataka
Hata Born in Kyoto in 1954. He graduated from Doshisha University. After living in England for a year, he joined Shoyeido, a long-established incense shop. In 2010, he assumed the position of CEO of the company. He is also enthusiastic about giving lectures and cultural activities in Japan and abroad to spread and develop incense culture. His publications include ``Koseiwa'' (Tankosha) and ``Kosansai'' (Tokyo Shoseki).
